Japan Trip?
Been considering a trip to Japan next Spring. The problem is just money and time. I'm considering going in March. We will see what happens.

Nomad Gremlin
So it's Spring and I've got the Nomad Gremlin, meaning the thing in my head, my heart, my stomach that tugs me to seek greener pastures and roam to another city. It's like a gentle wind whispering in my ear and driving me crazy with ideas like:
"Move to Seattle, so many game developers there!"
Move MOVE GO now GO!
It's really starting to bug me. Next Spring it'll probably be so strong I can't say no or give money excuses, we'll see.

Reflections on Traveling
I've been back in the USA now for a little under six months and I have to admit that I already want to leave again and have been planning on a possible trip to Japan in a year to see my friends Sean and Mako, as well as a few signature areas I've been wanting to visit for years.
I would love to see the Ise and Izumo Shinto shrines, as well as Osaka, Tokyo, and a few places I'm sure I'm discover and fall in love with in my research about Japan's geography.
I've also been planning on taking Japanese so I can have somewhat of a grasp of the language when I visit. I figure it's also a good idea for my career since I'm a game developer, and Japan is a huge hub for that. I have always been fascinated by the countries rigid societal structure and it'll be interesting to see how strange people are there interacting with each other.
I'll eventually get around to posting the remainder of my photos of Europe up here, it just depends.
I may also be leaving the country to go back to Italy this fall for a short period of time. A good friend enlightened me to this touring tradition called "agriturismo", where you basically work on an Italian farm and get room and board and an opportunity to poke around Italy for a few weeks.
I was thinking it would be pretty awesome to take up, and am thinking about trying to convince a few friends to come along with me. We will see what develops though.
I have the travel bug now, I don't think it'll ever let me go.

Photos from Italy
This huge batch of photos was all taken on my excursion through Italy. My favorite country I visited in Europe. It's taken me a while to get them up here because a) there are a LOT of photos and b) I'm just a little lazy.
Enjoy!

Photos and Videos from Suise-land
Switzerland was one of my favorite places to visit in Europe and one I definitely want to return to. Enjoy the photos and videos if you dare. I'm going to be putting the rest of my photos and videos up today or tomorrow, now that I'm finally over being sick, which I will also post about.
Bern
Interlaken and Brienz
I think this was taken on my way to Interlaken from Bern.
The great paragliding adventure! So yeah, if you didn't read before, I went paragliding in the Swiss alps and it was awesome. Here's some video from that and some very special photos with my pilot, Richi. Switzerland is beautiful.
Actual paragliding video with my actual real life camera that is real. Fun!
Richi taking video of us flying!
Landing, no that's no me, that would be magic if that was me and I was filming me from the ground. Magic has no place in Switzerland.
